Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations
Set up in 2001, the .NAME generic top-level extension is the only one intended for personal sites only. These domain names can include personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other titles people are known by. At first, only 3rd-level registrations were possible, so if you planned to purchase john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already acquired 3rd-level names remained operational.

You will have the chance to modify the WHOIS info, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an active domain to our company if you acquire its EPP transfer code from the present registrar company and we will renew it after the transfer has been completed.
